Snipercat Is Back

My last post was almost 3 years ago, I don't remember why I stopped to post, but in this period of time the interface was so outdated, the code Highlighter was failing and many images links were broken, that made me feel more lazy to write more experiences, but recently I updated APEX from it's outdated 4.2 version to it's more recent 19.1 version and I started to develop a new Application using APEX 19.1. With this, I've learned a lot of new things that are claiming their own post, so I decided to revive my blog with a new and responsive interface and I repaired the code Highlighter, I'll fix some of the old post.

Here is a picture of the older interface, just to remember it. I still have to make some changes to this one, but I'll make them later, I hope you like it. 😀

Set Custom APP Icon on APEX

I am creating my WorkSpace on  apex.oracle.com  to enable an online demo of my posts, then you can check if that is what you want before try it. Creating a new App, there are only 32 different Icons, but there are not Cat Icons. I wanted to add a Custom Icon, I'll explain how to do it. First, you need your icon on vector (.svg) format, you can create it using free tools like  Inkscape , Paid tools like  Illustrator , get it asking a Graphic Designer for help or Searching a free one on Internet. This time Chose the last one and got this  Cat Vector . You can find more on that site. ID Basado en trigger y secuencia para todas las tablas - Oracle

En ocasiones todas o la mayoría de las tablas de una base de datos requieren que su ID sea sacado de un trigger el cual llama una secuencia, por lo que tendremos que crear los trigger y las secuencias para esas tablas las cuales pueden ser muchas. esto nos lleva a 2 situaciones, en donde la base de datos no tiene ningún dato, y en donde esta ya tiene algunos, por lo que la secuencia no puede empezar desde 1. Base de Datos sin Datos :P En el primer caso basta con ejecutar el siguiente bloque pl/sql el cual nos darán el script para crear las secuencias y los triggers, podriamos hacerlo todo en un solo loop, pero queremos que el script de las secuencias nos quede en un bloque y el de los triggers en otro, solo por orden.
